Diesel Mechanic
Hamilton | Waikato | Trades & Services | Permanent / Full Time
We have multiple clients currently seeking qualified Diesel Mechanics in the heavy transport industry. The locations are Te Awamutu, Matamata, Tauranga and Christchurch.
These are workshop based roles where you will be servicing trucks of various European makes. Ideally, you will have a trade qualification in heavy automotive engineering, and have prior experience servicing trucks, earth moving equipment, or similar. You will need to have good diagnostics skills using modern equipment.
On offer is an hourly rate of $40 to $50 per hour. These are full-time, permanent roles.
We are happy to consider applicants who are on a work visa or require a work visa. These are immigration accredited employers.
In summary, the requirements,
- Trade qualification in heavy automotive engineering or similar
- Prior experience working on trucks or earthmoving equipment
- Excellent diagnostics skills
- Physically fit, able to work at a fast pace and without supervision
- Auto-electrical skills are nice to have
- Reliable and safety conscious
